About the Company
In the early 50's Florentino Atillo Sr. started the furniture business in Cebu and the exportation of rattan raw materials and soon after, rattan furniture to the United States, together with his wife, Narcisa. In the mid 60's, the Atillo children became active in the family business, and in 1969, Florentino III headed the factory production. In 1976, Florentino III together with wife, Irma established Atillo Manufacturing Corporation, known as Amancor for short. Furniture export covered the United States, Europe, Australia and Japan. 1989, recognizing the need to diversify and expand the business, and not limiting production to rattan furniture only, Florentino III initiated the multi-factory concept of production focusing on design, marketing and the supply of all kinds of furniture which included wood, leather, stone, metal, cast, fiberglass and the use of various woven materials, and created a new company under the name of Florentino III International, Inc. also known as F3, with subsidiary offices in California (F3 USA) and Arkansas (F3 Arkansas). 2002, the F3 Building located in Lapu Lapu City, Mactan, Cebu was completed. The building houses two floors of showroom, Operations office, Administration office, Workshop known as the "lab", and a warehouse for imported materials. 2005, the family furniture tradition continues with the 3rd Generation. Melissa, daughter of Florentino III presents F3 in it's first in house show. F3 introduces designs for the younger, design savvy market and gives modern updates to the more classical pieces. F3 continues to establish higher standards for Asia in the furniture industry, providing outstanding design and quality to their customers worldwide.
