U-BIX Corporation is the exclusive distributor of Konica Minolta digital multi-function machines, branded “bizhub,� the new generation of business solutions designed to fit each customer's need. Konica-Minolta, with U-BIX Corporation as its exclusive partner for 35 years, offers excellent quality imaging through advance technology, and is committed to the development of products that are innovative, creative, and dynamic.

Over the years, U-BIX Corporation evolved into an integrated office systems and services provider, acquiring distributorships of various office equipment including Riso digital duplicators; Epson printers, scanners and LCD projectors; Brother laser printers, fax and multi-function machines; Casio digital light projectors; and Okamura office furniture system.

U-BIX Corporation pioneered the guarantee of 2-hour response time to client calls, from 7 am to 7 pm, 7 days a week, setting industry standards for service. After 35 years, the company continues to uphold this service commitment, and is the foundation by which the corporate culture is built.

In November 2006, U-BIX Corporation acquired its ISO 9001-2000 certification for Distribution, Sales and Services of Copiers.

In August 2007, U-BIX Corporation announced the latest addition to its line of business through its purchase of the Kodak Imaging Center (KiC) from Kodak Philippines Limited. U-BIX Corporation acquired the entire KiC Philippines business, including document and microfilm scanning, database creation and management, encoding and data entry, and essential mail printing. The business now operates under the name U-BIX Data Center.

Since its inception in 1974, U-BIX Corporation has evolved from a company of 20 people into the country’s largest integrated office systems provider, generating revenues of over P1 billion with a workforce of over 800 employees and network of 24 branches.

To this day, we continue to take this service commitment seriously.

Our service commitment is that we guarantee a 2-hour response time to client calls, from 7am to 7pm, 7 days a week including holidays.  This is a commitment we have made 35 years ago which we continue to uphold today. 

We have trained and developed the best engineers.  All our Service Engineers undergo extensive Copier Technician Training programs conducted by Facilities Management Academy, a formal training school accredited by TESDA, designed to support U-Bix and its subsidiaries by training entry level workers on the skills required for copier key operators, copier technicians, service engineers, and refurbisihing engineers. 

This training is augmented by continuous preparation towards being Konica-Certified.  A Konica-Certified Engineer is a formal qualification provided by Konica Minolta through the form of an online exam.  Those who pass the KCE exam are recognized by Konica to have mastered basic technical knowledge that is required for selling and maintaining Konica Minolta machines.  Being Konica-certified is a benchmark of the highest engineering competence in assembling, refurbishing, and servicing orders.  All our machines undergo strict quality control checking by our Konica Certified Engineers.  We have the most number of KCEs nationwide, only the second-highest number among all Konica distributors worldwide. 

OUR HISTORY

U-BIX Corporation has been in the office machines business for the past 35 years, founded on February 11, 1974 by Atty. Edilberto B. Bravo and Atty. Enrique M. Belo.  We started as the exclusive distributor of Konica copiers in the Philippines, and since then the business has evolved into an integrated office systems and services provider.  U-BIX acquired the distributorship of leading companies such as Epson Corporation for printers, scanners, and multi-media projectors, Riso Kagaku Corporation for digital duplicators, and Okamura Corporation for office furniture systems. In 1996, U-Bix then ventured into exclusive U.S. franchise agreements with ServiceMaster for facilities maintenance services (janitorial/housekeeping/groundskeeping services and plant operations maintenance), Terminix for termite and pest control services, and Merry Maids for home cleaning services. 

Our objective is to be a "one-stop shop" for anyone in need of office systems and services.  From the customer's perspective, we provide the convenience of a single company with a proven 35-year track record of high quality and excellent service to cater to all office needs, whether for equipment or facilities maintenance services.  From our perspective, our strength is having the knowledge of our customers' needs and delivering these products and services to their full and complete satisfaction.
