Is currently looking for:

The Accounting Officer for Compliance is responsible for preparation, collation and submission of all reports/requirements and documents to BIR (Tax Reports), City/Municipality Hall, Department of Tourism, LTO, SEC, DTI, SSS, PHIC, HDMF. PCAB, PhilGEPS and related agencies.

He/she makes sure the company's conform to government regulations and laws in a timely manner.
  • Relevant experience on handling compliance tasks of at least 3 years
  • Bachelor's degree holder preferred (BS Accountancy and other fields)
  • With good understanding of Tax Planning (preferred but not required)
  • Strong Leadership and Time Management Skills
  • Detail-oriented; reading comprehension are necessary skills for this position
  • Professional attitude and with high integrity
  • Proactive and willing to be assigned in any areas in Davao City
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains regulatory knowledge and keeps him/herself update of new regulations.
  • Review and update internal policies affecting compliance
  • Prepare and file required documents - tax reports and other documents
  • Ensures that safety measures meet relevant standards to making sure financial documents are prepared correctly, properly and submitted on time.
  • Review documents, current practices, identify and recommend necessary changes
  • Coordinates with Audit and Compliance Manager and Cash & Bank Heads on compliance requirements
  • Generate month-end reports
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
