Helpmate Services Incorporated (HSI for brevity), is a corporation duly organized under Philippine Laws, engaged in providing janitorial, messengerial, manpower and comprehensive agricultural services to its clients in the different areas of  Visayas and Mindanao.  HSI was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 26, 2004 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Helpmate Services Incorporated, a 100% Filipino owned corporation also registered with the securities and Exchange Commission on March 21, 1966.
 
The principal and operating office of Helpmate Services Incorporated is at 330 N. Bacalso Avenue, Cebu City. It has branch offices in the cities of Tacloban, Cagayan De Oro City, Davao City and a Satellite office inside Nestle Facility in Magdum, Tagum City.
 
ACCOUNTING STAFF
 
I. SUMMARY
 
The Accounting staff performs accounting clerical and supports various aspects of finance and accounting for the company. Provide administrative support to the accounting team and management accounting reports required by the company.     
 
II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
1. Submits monthly billing and collection report to Accounting Facilitator
2. Prepares payroll to deployed employees.
3. Prepares billing to clients.
4. Prepares monthly dues such as rental, water & electric bills, telephone and etc.
5. Prepares APV and CV.
6. Facilitates in the processing of HDMF and SSS loans, and sickness benefit claims. 
7. Facilitates in the registration of newly hired employees (SSS, PHIC, HDMF)
8. Assist in the preparation of monthly government reports.
9. Handles petty cash.
10. Prepares the last pay of resigned employees.
11. Prepares 13th-month pay & SIL.  
12. Prepares in checking and liquidating of Cash Advances
 
III.  QUALIFICATIONS
 
An individual must have excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel); Peachtree and other accounting software knowledge. She/he must be results-driven, patient, has a high degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness. Has the ability to multitask and work well independently while meeting deadlines and staying organized. Must be able to work as part of a team with peers and leadership within the organization.
 
IV. JOB SPECIFICATIONS
  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management and any field related.
  • At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position  
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communications with staff, members, vendors, etc.
  • Must have strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete job duties with a high degree of accuracy.Can work under pressure and flexible
V.   LANGUAGE SKILLS:   Tagalog, Cebuano, Visayan, English

VII. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1. Must be present in the office on workdays except for work-related trips outside the office.
