YSU Marketing Corporation as a Trade Name was established on January of 2000, but trading started in the Year 1995.
It was Conceived to become a “Total Food Service Solutions Provider" for Mindanao and had its humble beginnings as a supplier of Styrowares and Plastic Cups to Local End Users in the Northern Mindanao Area.
Over the years we have added a vast array of Product lines, Brands, Suppliers / Principal’s and Services to our Business Portfolio to cover the growing needs of our customers. We have also become the pioneer in the Customization of various Food Packaging items to provide value to our Local S.M.E. Customers.
YSU Marketing Corporation is in need of a Driver / Mechanic!
Summary of Functions:
A motor pool technician performs a wide range of maintenance technical repair activities on vehicles and equipment. Activities require experience in preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment malfunctions and taking appropriate corrective action.
  • Performs routine maintenance activities, such as adjusting/replacing brakes, welding-cutting, aligning steering systems, checking tires-wheels, batteries, and lubricating moving parts.
  • Inspects defective equipment and diagnose malfunctions using pressure gauges, testing equipment, schematics, and factory manuals.
  • Disassembles and overhauls internal combustion engines, pumps, hydraulic systems, auxiliary equipment, generators, compress, clutches, etc.
  • Perform cleaning and general operational maintenance of the equipment
  • Operate equipment to test corrective measures.
  • Maintains various records related to the repair and maintenance of delivery vehicles and equipment.
  • Makes recommendations on technical repairs to determine whether components or assemblies should be rebuilt or replaced.
  • Read procedural manuals on to become familiar with capacity and methods.
  • Record, or report to appropriate supervisor, the maintenance needs of noted during the course of assigned work and informs possible malfunctions
  • Exercises proper safety in the performance of work, including use of appropriate personal protective machine guards, area warning materials, and safe work procedures.
  • Performs other related functions assigned.
  • Certified Automotive Mechanic/Servicing NC Holder from TESDA
  •  Knowledge and basic skill in operating various types of vehicles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices to make continuous judgments on safety, equipment capacity and work precautions.
  • Skills in documenting equipment maintenance needs and repair activity.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with supervisors and co-workers
