Position Summary
The Financial Controller (FC) will report to the Managing Director. He/she will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the accounts department, like preparation and management of the resorts’ financial budgets, implementing and overseeing all activities relating to the financial aspects of the resorts including restaurants in different locations.
In addition, he/she is responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control under the close supervision of the Managing Director. He/she must ensure all compliances are up to date.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Accounting and Financial Management
  • High-level financial reporting and analysis
  • Regular budget consolidation - Review and prepares annual budgets, monthly forecasts and operating results
  • Cash flow management
  • Debt management, Credit and collection
  • Tax Management
  • Compliance
  • Audit
  • Monthly Profit and Loss and Other Financial Statements and related reports
  • Develop financial reviews and providing investment advice to owners
  • Works closely with the resort’s General Manager and Department Heads in meeting goals of the resorts
  • Working closely with management or executive teams to share reports and analysis findings
  • Verify all financial reports and ensuring that all transactions are accurate in compliance to government regulations and industry standards
  • Ability to influence with profit improvement opportunities for resort operations and other business units
  • Able to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish requirements of resort operations
  • Pro-active with cost control strategies - Improving efficiencies and reducing costs across all division/business units/departments
  • Monitor and improve hotels operations profitability
