We are looking for a passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist. Reporting to the Head of Global Talent Acqusition, based in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

This person will play a critical role attracting top talent while being responsible for full cycle recruitment for on-site full-time and contract hiring. A successful candidate in this role will possess excellent influencing skills and customer service combined with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

We require someone who has the skills, experience, and drive to source and hire top talent in Technical, Call Centre, and other professional roles.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing overall recruitment strategy for BPO Sourcing and attracting top talent through various sources including job boards, social media, job fairs etc.;
  • Build strong relationships with the department leaders through understanding the different business streams and position requirements
  • Developing and updating organizational job descriptions for each department as well as new roles
  • Proactively build and understand business staffing levels and needs and manage talent measurements and trends
  • Conducting phone screening interviews on candidates who meet organizational needs
  • Setting up Skype meetings with the Head of Global Talent Acquisition for final interviews on shortlisted candidates
  • Building and maintaining pipeline of candidates for various roles
  • Other ad hoc administrative and Human Resources related job duties as required
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years of recruitment experience with high volume hiring requirements in a BPO setting
  • Knowledge of recruitment related legislation and best practices
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment for call centre roles including customer support and sales reps
  • Knowledge with assessment and interviewing concepts, tools and techniques; ability to conduct a conversation with another person, gather required information, and determine candidate suitability
  • Ability to manage multiple objectives, projects, activities, and open requisitions making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with Human Resources Manager, and business leaders
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews and employment testing
  • Results orientated mindset with a sense of urgency and strong relationship building skills.
