Job Purpose:
The Operations Manager is accountable for the profitable achievement of sales objectives associated with the assigned territory and sales team managed. OM is responsible for assigned team’s sales productivity, and directs their effort in order to have the greatest overall impact on company results. The OM manages all aspects of running an efficient sales team, including hiring, supervising, coaching, disciplining, monitoring of collections and accounts receivables, and motivating direct-report sales connections.

Duties and Responsibilities: Lists the duties and responsibilities of the position written as simply, yet completely, as possible.   • Overall in-charge in the business operation and distribution of Globe products in  assigned territory.
  • Reports to the Senior Sales Manager and to our principal’s assigned Area Sales Head regularly and represent the team during WOR, MOR and QBR.
  • Conducts a regular alignment meeting with the supervisors and key personnels.
  • Ensures growth and development of transacting retailers in the area.
  • Ensures smooth operation of various processes which contribute to the success of the whole territory.
  • Formulates sales strategies, plans and programs, and uses in-depth market knowledge through trade feedback, sound business principles, analysis of the competitive landscape, and regular consultation with SSM/ASH in order to achieve company objectives.
  • Ensures a passing mark in DPAS.
  • Responsible for market development activities.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of programs/promos meetings or other customer forum held in the assigned territory.
  • Ensures that direct to subscriber programs are properly implemented by third party agents assigned in different territories.
  • Do a frequent market feedback on products and services, competition and market conditions thru regular field work.
  • Develop and maintain territory specific information relative to competitors and distributors in the market.
  • Conduct a regular monitoring of product inventory and supplies including projects – coordination with warehouse department.
  • Actively probe new accounts and refer leads to the appropriate sales representative.
  • Generate ideas that contribute to territory, business unit, company mission and profitability.
  • Communicates/Coordinates with other Department Heads on the new leads and concerns. 
  • Measures cost effectiveness and find ways to reduce and manage our costs.
  • Monitors the daily receivables and collection and take immediate actions on the discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Ensures that standard Globe procedures/COC are being followed by your team and third party agents and properly executes the agreed terms and conditions.

Cost Efficiency
  • Average sales per DSP in Amax should not be lower than 1M.
  • Standard pricing of sims and tattoo sticks should be followed.
  • Maximum iload should be 50% of the total business.
  • Bload should be maintained up to 40% of the total business.
  • Actual headcount vs required.
  • Office supplies vs total budget.
Working Capital Management
  • 3 days disposal of inventory from the time it was lopd.
  • Past due/debts should be less than 7 days.
  • 7 days consignment maximum
  • Zero case of anomalies within the department
  • Timely submission and presentation of WOR and MOR.
  • Result oriented reporting; accurate numbers and qualitative data all the time.
  • On time submission of project liquidation and expense reports – no return and errors.
  • On time submission of other required reports including the merchandising.
Compliance to the policies and procedures of the company as well as Globe standards
  • Adherence to all company rules and policies – clean record
