Medical Records Processor
The primary responsibility of the medical records processor is to manage the accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and security of all healthcare information.
In this role you will:
  • Monitor the day-to-day activity to ensure accounts are accurate and worked in a timely manner, and perform miscellaneous related duties, as needed
  • Oversee the plans and programs related to the collection
  • Plans, develops and administers health information system for home health agencies consistent with standards of accrediting and regulatory agencies and requirements of CMS
  • Evaluate the accounts periodically and record the amount of collection
  • Maintain good client relations and provide customer service in line with the issues and complaints raised by clients
  • Review patient records, checking for errors, and making sure everything is complete
  • Collaborate with the Data Analytics team as needed
  • Report directly to Head of Operations and CEO
To be successful in this role you will need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or healthcare-related field is preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in handling medical and billing records in a lead or managerial role
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and other US payer sources
  • Knowledge in the Healthcare industry and the trends
  • Management experience in a BPO industry is an advantage
  • Amenable to work on night shift
