Premier Family Business Consulting is looking for a Vice-President of Finance for a general merchandising group of Companies. Experience in managing a chain of retail stores will be an advantage. Responsible for managing the financial actions of the group of companies.

Tasks
  • Oversee all financial related matters where depth and scope is relative to the size of the company.
  • Create financial plans as defined by the board of directors.
  • Direct all aspects of accounting operations such as receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
  • Conducting weekly and monthly financial assessments as well as generating timely and accurate reports
  • Ensure that all accounting and financial activities and internal audits comply with regulations and compliance
  • Responsible in leading and managing activities related to Budget Management, Financial Planning, Management Reporting, Monitoring and Analyzing Performance, and Business Case Analysis
  • Responsible in tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses and proposing corrective actions
Qualification
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant, preferably with Master’s Degree in Business Administration or earned units of the MA degree.
  • Required Languages: English, Filipino
  • At least 6 years working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Experience in the Manufacturing, Retail and Healthcare Industry is a huge advantage.
  • Required Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Business Leadership and Management, Strategic Planning, Presentation Skills, Time-Management Skills, Organized, Adaptable, Flexible, Self-Driven, Friendly, Resourceful, Integrity, Reliable/Dependable, adept in any accounting/ERP system is a plus
  • Has ability to work on tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical & decision-making abilities, result driven
  • Preferably: Managerial level specialized in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
