Job Description
 
The HR Supervisor oversees the overall facilitation and implementation of all HR functions such as manpower planning, talent acquisition / recruitment, compensation & benefits, training & development, employee relations, company events, and HR reporting at the plant level.  He or she will report to the Plant Resident Manager.  He or she will be permanently based in Davao Works, Bunawan, Davao City.
 
Main Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition / Recruitment - handle or coordinate all stages of the hiring process including job requirement appproval, talent sourcing and interviewing, partnering with hiring managers, scheduling of interviews, extending job offer, completing pre-employment requirements, conducting employment reference checks, and conducting new employee orientation and on-boarding
  • Compensation & Benefits - assist in the preparation of payroll of the employees which includes timekeeping monitoring (tardiness, absences, leaves), coordinating attendance discrepancies; help in the enrollment of employee statutory and company benefits; attend to all employee inquiries and concerns
  • Training & Development - help in coordinating or facilitating training programs; assist in performance management activities
  • Employee Relations & Company Events - attend to all employee concerns in relation to the code of conduct, rewards & recognition, grievances, etc.; involve in all the company events from preparation until actual activity
  • HR Documentation & Reporting - handle the safe-keeping of records and ensure compliance to the Data Privacy Act (confidential information); prepare, review, and submit needed reports
  • People Management - lead, coach and mentor the Plant HR team members
  • Perform other relevant tasks as required or needed by the business
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Bachelor's/College Degree in Social Science/Sociology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management, Humanities/Liberal Arts, Psychology or equivalent
  • Required languages: Filipino, English
  • At least 4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Required skills: Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, HR Reporting, Employee Relations, Leadership, People Management
  • Preferred skills: Training, Organizational Development, Performance Management
  • Preferably Supervisor Employee specialized in Human Resources and in similar industry or sector
  • Able to travel to the Head Office in Metro Manila and within the Philippines whenever necessary
