Rocket Agency is one of Australia’s most respected digital agencies. We work with well-established Australian businesses to assist them to generate more leads through digital channels.
Our Cebu office is looking for Part-Time SEO Manager to join our Team, working at least 20 hours/week. A fundamental role in ensuring success of all client campaigns through managing the SEO team and ensuring up-to-date SEO best-practices are adopted.

This role calls for someone who is a real driver, who can work independently and be hungry to make a positive impact in our agency’s SEO offering. That person should always strive to be better and continually review our approach to SEO ensuring that we position ourselves as a premium/enterprise SEO agency.
About the Opportunity
Working within a fantastic team of digital specialists you will work with new & existing SEO projects to maximise client ROI. Key aspects of the role include:
  • Manage a small portfolio of SEO campaigns where you show an outstanding ability to think creatively to achieve success.
  • Ensure that you stay up-to-date with the latest trends, news and research pertaining to SEO.
  • Manage a team of SEO specialists where you will be their direct report. You will make yourself available as their mentor, trainer and leader to help them drive growth across their SEO campaigns.
  • Manage and execute or delegate SEO pre-sales audits. Further ensuring that our audits provide a comprehensive view on the current SEO environment and areas of improvement which align with the business's goals/objectives.
  • Lead monthly SEO team meetings, ensuring these are efficiently and effectively run where there is real benefit to all SEO specialists in the form of knowledge sharing, reviewing new updates, raising issues/concerns on client campaigns, sharing success stories, identifying areas of improvement with each SEO specialist etc.
  • Lead the SEO Strategist role across the agency and ensure its effectiveness in making a positive impact on client campaigns. Through this role, you will be assisting SEO specialists in planning and executing successful SEO strategies for multiple clients using best-practice, research and data.
  • Kept up-to-date with monthly SEO wins focusing on non-brand search improvements, CTR improvements, Rich snippet features across competitive, high difficulty areas.
  • Communicate new updates/changes pertaining to SEO that resonates with company in a meaningful way. By this, we want updates to be accompanied with actionable advice on what can be executed on client campaigns as a result of this update. What actions are the agency taking as a result of this update. Etc.
About You
  • Your passion for delivering excellent outcomes will be the key to your success in this fast paced role. Your experience will include but not be limited to:
  • Minimum of 5 years of SEO experience across a range of clients
  • Experience in technical analysis, outreach, link building, content marketing & content creation, with proven results
  • Strong knowledge of the latest SEO trends and Google Algorithm changes
  • Ability to develop strategies based on industry trends and developments
  • Expertise in analysing a website’s search performance for both desktop and mobile
  • Experience using a variety of tools to extract meaningful data that informs your approach to optimising client websites. This will include, but not limited to Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, AHREFs, SEMRush.
  • A proven track record of meeting & exceeding targets
  • An excellent work ethic, problem solving and proficient time management skills
  • Excellent management, communication skills and professionalism
