Our doors are open to welcome teammates who can live up to what it takes to be part of our growing team! We are looking for an ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT who have an accounting background and passionate about accounting and looking for a position to develop your accounting skills.
 
As an Accounting Assistant, your responsibilities will include the ff: 
  • Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval 
  • Analyze & verify invoices and other expense reports for accuracy and eligibility for payment 
  • Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files 
  • Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and expense vouchers 
  • Update and maintain vendor database in a timely manner 
Qualifications for the role:
  • A graduate of accounting or finance related course with 2-3 years of experience in financial accounting 
  • Has at least a year of experience with general accounting  
  • Experience with accounting systems and software is a must 
  • Has advanced skills and knowledge in Excel and other MS Office applications 
  • Keen to details and attentive to errors 
  • Excellent & effective communication skills 
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts payable principles 
  • Accurate data entry skills 
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage financial records
