PERSONNEL STAFF (PS)
 
Department: Human Resources
 
Superior: Personnel Officer(PO)
 
Employees: Office employees including Accounting, Expor, and  Operations, Quality,  Warehouse and Trucking/Logistics units
 
Duties in Brief: Process the expansion’s compensation and benefits particularly the payroll (every 11th and 26th of the month), statutory benefits like the SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth every 10th, 15th, 31st day or last day of each month, including gasoline reimbursements, and other personal loans of employees with SSS and Pag-ibig. PO helps the PO in all HR matters like recruitment, employee relations and discipline, and other concerns of all employees.    
 
Duties and Responsibilities: Assists the Personnel Officer in the manpower development planning particularly recruitment and selection, including employment services and the Human Resource Information System and other compliances.
 
Records the manpower requests (Manpower Request Form or MRF) of units, ensuring that they are compliant to the local labor law. Ensure that form is complete and signed by the GM and the Finance Vice President.
  • PS can help coordinate the Job Offer coupled with basic requirements for candidate’s compliance. 
  • Coordinate and record the contractual, probationary or project-based contract and other tools of the candidate.  
Compensation and Benefits and other billings of the expansion company
  • Process, update and preparing government benefits (SSS, Pag-ibig, Philhealth) every 10th, 15th, 31st or last day of the month.
  • Checking Reports/ Daily Time Records, and even receipts thoroughly.
  • Preparing payroll, reports every 11th and 26th of the month where releases are every 15th and last day of the month (or 31st ).
PS can be given tasks to do memos particularly disciplinary in nature
  • PS acts as a secretary taking down notes on various meetings, admin hearings, trainings and so on. This includes all other meetings that he/she may have outside the office/work area.
  • Daily accomplishment reports to immediate superior.
Other tasks that might be called for like attending to seminars and the like
  • Drug-free Workplace Workshops in coordination with the Department of Labor and Employment and the PDEA;
  • Or any task as given by immediate superior which related to work/company.
Authority: Leave administration, payroll releases and coordination, evaluation measures and training facilitations
 
Closely related depts.: All departments (Accounting, Export, Operations, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, including Logistics (Trucking) personnel.
 
Tools/Devices Needed: Computer with internet for email correspondences, office tools like pen, calculator, smartphone to call employees to check and monitor.

Working Environment: Indoor
