- Managing the kitchen entire kitchen
- Making sure the kitchen is a safe and hygienic place to work
- Organising the inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies
- Helping to plan menus, apportion ingredients and use food surpluses
- In-charge of doing the costing
- Control portion costs by working out the number of portions per food batch
- Supervises noncooking personnel, such as KITCHEN HELPER , to ensure cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.
- Supervises COOK and tastes, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards.
- Performs other duties as described under SUPERVISOR Master Title.
- May meet with professional staff, customers, or client group to resolve menu inconsistencies or to plan menus for special occasions.
- In-charge of manpower set up
- Graduate of Bachelor degree, preferably Industrial Engineer is a must.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in food industry
