Our client is currently looking for:
Location: Iloilo City
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assess the company's risks and the efficacy of its risk management efforts
  • Ensure that the organization is complying with relevant laws and statutes
  • Inspects finished contracts and one of signatories in approval of billing
  • Audits procurement transactions in accordance with R.A. 9184
  • In charge of answering and updating Audit Observation Memorandum (AOM) and Notice of Disallowance (ND) by the Commission on Audit
  • Evaluate internal control and make recommendations on how to improve
  • Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices, and documentation
  • Focuses in validating and auditing pertinent financial transactions in the company
  • Verifies assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation
  • Completes audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings
  • Conducts regular audit of inventories
  • In charge of annual physical inventory
  • Graduates of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Management
  • Must be CPA
  • Excellent understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Relevant work experience of at least 5 years 
  • Can work independently and should take the initiative and make decisions
  • Excellent analytical mind-set and numerical skills
  • Excellent ability to think objectively, have strong ethical standards, as well as high levels of integrity to adhere to regulations and compliance are necessary
  • Excellent organization skills and be able to prioritize their workload, as well as resilient and calm under pressure
