Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team, responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar power panels. Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
Coordinate the installation process for solar power panels, including site assessments, equipment procurement, and project scheduling. Ensure installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with industry standards.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules to maximize the efficiency and longevity of solar power systems. Respond promptly to system malfunctions or failures, troubleshooting issues and coordinating repairs as necessary.
Conduct regular inspections and quality assurance checks to verify the integrity and functionality of solar power panel installations. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize system performance.
Enforce strict adherence to safety guidelines and regulations during all phases of project execution. Conduct safety training sessions, promote a culture of safety awareness, and investigate any safety incidents or concerns.
Utilize monitoring tools and software to track the performance of solar power systems, analyzing data to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement. Implement adjustments and optimizations to enhance system performance and output.
Maintain accurate records of all installation, maintenance, and repair activities, including equipment specifications, work orders, and inspection reports. Generate regular reports summarizing system performance, maintenance activities, and project status updates.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related field. MBA or equivalent business management qualification is a plus
Licensed Electrical Engineer
Courses or training related to leadership and supervision can be an asset.
Safety Officer 2 is an advantage
Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of effective cleaning methods and best practices.
Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Awareness of environmental and sustainability practices, especially in industries like solar
Familiarity with the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals
Skills:
Strong leadership skills to guide and manage a janitorial team.
Excellent communication skills to convey instructions clearly and interact with team members and management.
Ability to identify and address issues promptly and effectively.
Efficient scheduling and task delegation to ensure work is completed within designated time frames
Capability to train and develop janitorial staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to cleaning standards.
Experience:
With 2 years of previous experience in a supervisory role within the solar plant field.
Familiarity with the specific requirements and challenges of the industry (e.g., solar plant cleaning)
Experience with janitorial equipment and knowledge of maintenance requirements.
Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control measures.
