Accounting Supervisor

MACTAN ROCK INDUSTRIES, INC.

Established in Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines in 1983, Mactan Rock Industries Inc. started as an industrial chemical manufacturer specializing in water treatment chemicals and industrial preventive maintenance chemicals. As the company grew, it began trading in water softeners, demineralizers and ion exchange resins. In just over five (5) years, it metamorphosed from its modest beginnings to a complete water and wastewater treatment company.

Through its Human Resources Department (HRD) hereby informs everyone that we are currently looking for successful applicants to fill up the following positions enumerated below along with the qualifications:

ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR (ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE & TAX)

Qualifications:

• Must be Accounting/ Finance graduate

• at least 1 year of experience handling and supervising accounting/ finance clerks, handling taxation or A/R

• Honest and attentive/keen to details

• Willing to extend effort to assure reports are done on time

• With experience using computerized accounting system

• A CPA holder is a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews the regular reports of accounting clerks

• Assist the accounting manager to maintain and improve regulations and procedures of accounting procedures/policies

• Assessing and reviewing accuracy of accounting data which directed at accounts receivable and keeping track of all receviable records

• Supervise and monitor tax compliance and recommend on how to improve compliance and tax avoidance

• To do bank reconciliation monthly

• To assure regualr reconciliation of A/R and tax records

• Must be able to effectively communicate with staff and maintain a positive working relationship when addressing problems and coming up with solutions

• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential

• Updates job knowledge by participanting in educational opportunities like trainings and seminars
